MIGRANTE Guesthouse,Sal Rei, Boavista

Set in the centre of Sal Rei, not far from the harbour, the Migrante guest house (b&b) is set in a street with painted houses. It is convenient for banks, restaurants, car hire, taxis, estate agents, notary and property viewing. It is about 400 yards from the beach at Sal Rei, and about 15 minutes transfer from the airport at Boavista. Click here for info on flights to Boavista.

Rooms

5 bedrooms, including junior suite, suite and single rooms. Every room has a fan, safe, telephone, bathroom. They are decorated in colonial style, and some have four poster style beds with netting.

Dining

Breakfast: This is served on the ground floor. It is possible to have dinner in the hotel, and this is with prior arrangement with the management. There is a restaurant right opposite, which is small and requires reservations.

Comments

At the back of the hotel is a charming courtyard, with some sun loungers and tables. It is run by Italians who renovated an old building. At night, looking into the bar from the street, it has a friendly atmostphere, and there is occasional music. There are only a few rooms, and the hotel has been recommended to us by several sources. As a result it is often booked up, so we would suggest that you reserve this hotel early to avoid disappointment (we are not joking!). Smoking in the bedrooms is not permitted, but you may smoke in the landing overlooking the courtyard.

Whenever possible, we show total prices inclusive of all airport taxes, local taxes and any additional charges.  Prices are in £ sterling, per person based on 2 sharing a room, and per person for a single room.
